This “Student Save 40% Promotion” (the “Promotion”) terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion during the period of August 12th 2024 - December 31st, 2024 (the “Promotional Period”). You should read these Terms carefully before participating.
“We” or “us” means Digicel (BVI) Limited, a company registered under the laws of BVI with registered offices at Jayla Place, 5th Floor, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. References to “we”, “our”, “us” and “Digicel” in these Terms also include our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates/Digicel Markets”) from time to time.
“I” or “you” means the person participating in the Promotion, and the parent or legal guardian of the child who will benefit from your participation in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms:

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are purchasing a sim for and on behalf of a person above the age of nineteen (19) you should not participate in the Promotion.
1. What is the Digicel “Student” Promotion?
The Digicel Student Promotion is a limited promotional offering of a Sim Only, to a parent of a child under the age of (19) nineteen to be used by that child as a prepaid customer who participates in the Promotion and receive applicable benefits accordingly (collectively called the “Offer”).
This promotion gives anyone with the "Student Sim", 40% off on the 5-Day, 7-Day, 10-Day & 30-Day Prime Ultra Bundles as long as the 'Student Sim" remains active.
Customer is limited to one discount per plan weekly (if you activate two 5-Day plans in one week, you will get one discount only, but if you activate a 5-Day and or 10-Day Plan, you will get bot discounts).
2. What are the available offers?
The Student Sim - Includes a Sim Only with $10 credit + 5 Day Prime Ultra Bundle to the parent of a child under the age of (19) nineteen to be used by the child as a prepaid customer which gives access to 40% Off on the following plans: 5-Day, 7-Day, 10-Day & 30-Day Prime Ultra Bundles. Sim Card Value $10.
Bundles prices without discount are:
- 5-Day Prime Ultra Bundle $29.99
- 7-Day Prime Ultra Bundle $38.90
- 10-Day Prime Ultra Bundle $55.90
- 30-Day Prime Ultra Bundle $99.90
3. Who can participate in the Promotion?
- Parents/Legal Guardians of children under the age of nineteen (19) years who are Digicel or non-Digicel subscribers;
- Students aged 18 -19;
- Residents of BVI.
4. How do I participate in the Promotion?
Follow these steps to participate in the Promotion:
Step 1: Visit a Digicel store;
Step 2: Inquire about any of the Digicel Student Promotion, show the mandatory School ID & sign the Consent Form on behalf of a student under the age of 18 years old;
Step 3: Purchase the discounted promotion sim;
Step 4: Customer will receive an SMS to activate the Student Bundle;
Step 5: After receiving the SMS, you simply would reply with the number corresponding with the bundle you want to activate for example 5 for 5-Day bundle, 7 for 7-Day, 10 for 10-Day or 30 for 30-Day bundle. This would activate the bundle given that the correct amount is on the sim card.
5. How many children can a parent/legal guardian register for the Student Offer?
No limit.
6. Will I be able to check the Data and Minutes balance?
Yes, you can check balances via the MyDigicel App or UMM service menu (*120#).
7. Do I need to provide proof of a relationship between myself and my child?
Yes. You will also be required to fill out the consent form, which you will verify by signature of the form.
Additional Terms and Conditions
1. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.
2. You are required to use a compatible smartphone to run the App and participate in the Promotion. A compatible smartphone is an Android (OS 4.0 or higher) or Apple (iOS 2.0 or higher) smartphone.
3. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused.
4. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.
5. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for connectivity and data usage in relation to your participation in the Promotion.
6. You may not participate in this Promotion while roaming.
7. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the MyDigicel mobile application. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
8. You acknowledge and agree that we may collect, store, share, and otherwise process any personally identifiable information that you provide about yourself (and any minor for which you have guardianship) during the Promotion and the mobile services application and registration process, including, but not limited to, names, ages, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. We will use this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including for managing and administering the Promotion, verifying your age, identity, and postal address, or registering you for a product or service. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and country and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the Selected Customer) and any other purposes to, which you have consented.
9. You agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel. By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity. If you refuse to do so, you forfeit your right to claim the prize if you are selected as the winner.
