1.  What is the Digicel+ Chance to Win a Smart TV Promotion?

• This promotional offer (“Promotion”) is organized and run by Digicel BVI Ltd, a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), with its registered address at 5^TH Floor, Jayla Place, Road Town, Tortola, BVI.
• By entering this promotion all participants agree to abide by the promotion rules.

 

2.   Promotion Period:

• The Promotion will run from 5 July 2024 to 10 August 2024.
• The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Organizer. Any such amendment will be communicated via Digicel website and Social Media pages.

 

3.   Who is eligible to win a prize:

• Persons (“Participants”) interested in entering the Promotion must:

- be a natural person;

- be a resident with a valid identity document or passport and reside in BVI;

- be between 18 (eighteen) years or older

- have participated in the Promotion during the Promotion Period

• Employees of Digicel Group and their immediate families, advertising and promotion agencies, distribution partners, associated companies, and outlet owners and their immediate families and staff associated with this Promotion are not allowed to enter the Promotion.

 

4.   Mechanics:

• To be considered a winner of the Samsung 85' Smart TV, Participant will need to sign up for any of the Digicel+ Home Fibre Bundle (Internet + TV) or Home Fibre Internet plans and be installed within the promotion period. 

 

5.   Prize (Samsung 85' Smart TV)

The prize is not transferable, cannot be deferred or exchanged or redeemed for cash and is not negotiable.

• Digicel reserves the right to substitute any, or part of any, of the device.
• Installation Technician will notify the winners upon successful completion of installation and activation of service.
• Digicel will not be responsible for any costs and/or expenses which a winner, or any Participant, may incur during and for the purposes of entering the Promotion, similarly Digicel will not be responsible for charges associated with a winner accepting and/or using the device.

 

6.    How and when will winner be selected and accounced?

The winner will be selected at random via a transaction list provided by our online generating platform of all eligible participants during the Promotional period from July 5 to August 10, 2024.  One winner will be selected throughout the promotion and announced on Monday 12 August, 2024. The selection will take place at the Digicel Head located at the Jayla Place Building, Road Town, Tortola. The selected customer will then be contacted by our Marketing Executive via telephone directly. The winning customer will be Posted on Digicel’s social media platforms both Facebook & Instagram.

 

7.    General:

• The rules of the Promotion may be amended at any time during the Promotion Period with reasonable notification and once such amended rules are published will be deemed as accepted.
• All rules will be interpreted and applied at the sole discretion of Digicel.
• Participants take part in the Promotion at their own risk and Digicel bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of the participation and/or acceptance and/or use of a prize, or any aspect thereof.
• Digicel reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time, if deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise that are outside of its control, and will not be liable to Participants in such event for any cause or action whatsoever.
• Any violation or attempt to violate any of these rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor with or without notice.
