JAVA Starbucks Terms and Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions governing this Promotion: -

 

1. What is the JAVA 2024 Starbucks(“Promotion”)?

 During the period from 8th July, 2024 to 26th July, 2024 (“1st Promotional Period”), any Digicel prepaid customer who purchases a 30 day D’Freedom Plan or 30 day All In Plan, will win 1 FREE Tall Starbucks Drink (Frappuccino, Latte, Americano, Nitro Cold Brew, Cold Brew, Brew of the Day, Strawberry Acai Refresher or Mango Dragon Fruit Refresher).

During the period from 8th July, 2024 to 7th August, 2024 (“2nd Promotional Period”), any Digicel prepaid customer who purchases five (5) D’1Day Plus Plan, will win 1 FREE Tall Starbucks Drink (Frappuccino, Latte, Americano, Nitro Cold Brew, Cold Brew, Brew of the Day, Strawberry Acai Refresher or Mango Dragon Fruit Refresher)

Note: You are not required to activate the 5 (five) D’1Day Plus Plan on consecutive days to access this Promotion. You can access this Promotion when you activate a D’1Day Plus Plan on any five (5) days during the 2nd Promotional Period.

3. How can I purchase any of these plans?

Once you are a Digicel prepaid mobile customer, to purchase one of these plans, you can dial *323# or visit the My Digicel app.

 

4. Can I receive a Starbucks coupon more than once during this Promotion?

Yes, you can receive a free Starbucks drink more than once during this Promotion. For every five (5) D’1Day Plus Plan and for every 30day D’Freedom Plan or 30day All in Plan purchased during the Promotion, you will win 1 FREE Tall Drink.  

 

5. Will I be notified once I have qualified for the Starbucks drink?

Yes, you will receive a text message on your mobile phone notifying you that you have qualified to receive a free Starbucks. You will also receive instructions via this text message on how to redeem the free Starbucks drink via a coupon.

 

6. Are there any restrictions on the type of Frappuccino I can redeem?

Yes, Frappuccino’s are limited to the following flavors:

  • Caramel
  • Coffee
  • Mocha
  • Dulce de Leche
  • Java Chip
  • Strawberries and Cream
  • Chai Cream
  • Double Chocolaty Chocolate Chip
  • Vanilla Bean

 

7. How do I redeem my free Starbucks drink?

You will be required to visit any Starbucks Café. You are unable to redeem your Starbucks drink at the Drive-Thru and you’re unable to order for delivery.

 

8. How long do I have to redeem the coupon for the free Starbucks drink?

You will have five (5) days from the date that you receive the text message from Digicel with instructions to redeem your coupon for the free Starbucks drink.

 

9. Can I give my Starbucks coupon to a friend?

Yes, you can, however, ensure that the coupon is redeemed within the 5day expiration period and is valid.

 

10. Can I pay the difference to Starbucks to purchase another drink or meal of my choice other than the free Starbucks drink via this Promotion?

You cannot receive another Starbucks item in place of the free Starbucks drink available via this Promotion.

 

11. Do I need to make a purchase from Starbucks or can I just redeem my Drink?

There is no need to make any purchase from Starbucks to redeem your Free Drink.

12. Can a ported prepaid customer qualify for this Promotion?

Yes, all prepaid Digicel customers can qualify for this Promotion.

 

13. Additional Terms and Conditions

  • Participants shall be fully responsible for the payment of all taxes, duties or statutory deductions associated with this Promotion.
  • In no event will Digicel be liable for more than the relevant prize available under these terms and conditions.
  • The Plans included in this Promotion are offered for personal use by individuals only and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of this Promotion or your use of the Plans.
  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate this Promotion forthwith if in its sole opinion the Promotion is being abused.
  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) this Promotion being offered to its customers at its discretion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the terms and conditions of this Promotion, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
  • Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of a short code or the My Digicel App from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.
  • Subject to the above, Digicel’s Mobile Telephone Services Terms and Conditions and Digicel’s Prepaid Plans Terms and Conditions shall apply.
