Standards Terms and Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions governing this Promotion: -

 

  1. What is the “Standards September Promotion” about?

During the period from 1st September, 2024 to 30th September, 2024 (“Promotional Period”), any Digicel prepaid customer who purchases a 30 day “D’ Lite” Plan, 30 day “D’Freedom” Plan or a 30 day “All In” Plan  or any Digicel postpaid or Digicel + customer who pays his or her bill on time and in full, will receive a coupon to receive a free gift courtesy Standards subject to item 6 and 9 below.

 

  1. How can I enter this Promotion?

The following are the methods by which you can enter this Promotion during the Promotional Period:

 

  • As a Digicel mobile Prepaid customer, if you purchase a 30 day D’ Lite, D’ Freedom or D’ All In plan, you will receive one (1) coupon;

 

  • As a Digicel mobile Postpaid customer, if you pay your bill on time and in full, you will receive one (1) coupon;

 

  • As a Digicel + customer, if you pay your bill on time and in full, you will receive one (1) coupon.

 

 

  1. How can I purchase any of these Prepaid plans?

Once you are a Digicel prepaid mobile customer, to purchase one of these plans, you can dial *323# or visit the My Digicel app.

 

  1. Can I receive a Standards coupon more than once during this Promotion?

No, you can only receive a free Standards coupon once during this Promotion.

 

  1. Will I be notified once I have qualified for the Standards coupon?

Yes, you will receive a text message on your mobile phone with the coupon.

 

  1. How do I redeem my Standards coupon?

You can redeem your free gift via the standards coupon, by visiting any Standards store nationwide, and by purchasing any item valued at over $3,000.00. The free gift from Standards will be valued at 10% of your total spend.

 

  1. How long do I have to redeem the coupon for the free gift from Standards?

You will have thirty (30) days from the date that you receive the text message from Digicel with instructions to redeem your coupon for the free gift from Standards.

 

  1. Can I give my Standards coupon to a friend?

Yes, you can, however, ensure that the coupon is redeemed within the 30 day expiration period and is valid.

 

  1. Do I need to make a purchase from Standards or can I just redeem my coupon?

    A purchase of $3,000.00 or more must be made at Standards, to redeem your coupon for a free gift.

  2. Can a ported customer qualify for this Promotion?

Yes, all Prepaid and Postpaid Port in customers can qualify for this Promotion.

 

  1. Additional Terms and Conditions
  • Participants shall be fully responsible for the payment of all taxes, duties or statutory deductions associated with this Promotion.
  • In no event will Digicel be liable for more than the relevant prize available under these terms and conditions.
  • The Plans included in this Promotion are offered for personal use by individuals only and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of this Promotion or your use of the Plans.
  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate this Promotion forthwith if in its sole opinion the Promotion is being abused.
  • Digicel shall not be held liable or responsible for the state, warranty and/or condition of the free gift.
  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) this Promotion being offered to its customers at its discretion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the terms and conditions of this Promotion, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
  • Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of a short code or the My Digicel App from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.
  • All entrants agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel.  By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. If a winner refuses to do so, they forfeit their right to claim the prize.

 

  • Subject to the above, Digicel’s Postpaid  Services Terms and Conditions, Digicel’s Prepaid Plans Terms and Conditions and Digicel+ Terms and Conditions shall apply.
