Terms and Conditions
These Digicel “Recharge” Promotion (the “Promotion”) terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win one of the 16 motorbikes. You should read these Terms and FAQ’s carefully before participating in the Promotion.
“We” or “us” means Digicel Suriname N.V., a company registered under the laws of Suriname with registered offices at Henck Arronstraat 27-29. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“I” or “You” means the person accessing or using recharge to participate in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.
1. What is the Digicel “Recharge” Promotion?
As part of our Christmas campaign, the Digicel “Recharge” Promotion (the “Promotion”) allows users to top up SRD 100 or more and get letters to spell the word “DIGICEL”. If a customer has received all the letters that make up DIGICEL, they will stand a chance to be one of the sixteen winners for a prize of a motorbike.
2. What is the Promotional Period for the Promotion?
The Promotion starts on November 15, 2023, and ends on January 9th, 2024 (the “Promotional Period”).

3. Who cannot participate in the Promotion?
The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:
a. Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers.
b. Digicel staff members, employees, and Direct partners of Digicel.
4. Can I participate in the Promotion while roaming?
Yes, you are eligible after every SRD 100 top up. You must be on a Digicel Suriname network to request the letters you have received.
5. What will winners need to present in order to redeem their prize?
Winners must present a valid Government issued identification document (passport, identification card or driver’s licence) and the phone used to participate in the Promotion. The winner will be required to complete and sign a redemption form confirming their receipt of the prize and a Consent and Release Form authorizing the use of their picture (where they chose to do so) on Social Media.
Additional Terms and Conditions
A. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.
B. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
C. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for redemption of prizes and for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App.
D. The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.
E. Warranty and support information will be included in product packaging.
F. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.
G. If a prize is unavailable, we may, in our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal value and/or specification.
H. Except where the choice is given to trade, prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.
I. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
J. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent or sub-processor duly appointed by Digicel to assist with mechanics, management, advertising, marketing, execution or any other operation of the Promotion, for and on behalf of Digicel and will not be disclosed to any other third party for any other purpose.
K. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent or sub-processor appointed by Digicel to carry out the Promotion. You further consent to Digicel's disclosure, use and publication of your name, nickname, image, voice, caricature, endorsement, signature, initials, reputation, autograph, address, country of birth and domicile, biographical data and/or likeness in connection with the exploitation, exhibition, distribution, advertising, publicity and promotion of the Promotion and the Digicel brand in all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, throughout the universe, perpetually and without restriction. L. Winners may share their winnings on their social media platforms and may be required to take part in related publicity, including (without limitation) publication of the name and image of a winner along with their winning entry via Digicel’s website, social media and other press and media channels. No payment will be given for this.
M. Except in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any reward.
