This Samsung Promotion” (the “Promotion”) frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Package for a chance to win weekly prizes and/or take advantage of a special discounted offer. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Package.

“We” or “us” means Digicel Group Limited, a company registered under the laws of Barbados with registered offices 2nd Floor, William Tower, William Industries Complex, Warrens, St. Michael.  References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.

  1. What is the promotional period for the Promotion?

The promotion is valid from Saturday, June 1st , 2024 12:00:01AM through to Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 11:59:59PM or while stocks last. 

 

  1. Who is eligible to enter the Promotion?

The below customers are eligible to purchase the Samsung Ultra S23 256GB Smartphone once they sign up to one of the plans outline in question 1:

  • New Postpaid Customer
  • Existing Customer requesting 2nd line
  • Customer migrating from Prepaid to Postpaid

 

  1. Are you require to pay a Security Deposit?

Following the completion of your credit check, it may be necessary to pay a security deposit.

 

  1. Who is eligible to enter the Promotion?

The Following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:

  1. Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;
  2. Persons under the age 18 years;
  3. Digicel Employees and family members.

 

  1. How do I participate in the Promotion?

It’s simple! In order to be eligible for the Promotion;

  • Eligible customers who activates the $100 plan with a 24 month Contract in order to qualify for a discounted price for the Samsung Ultra S23 256GB for as low as $2150.

 

  • Eligible customers who activates the $125 with a 24 month Contract will receive the Samsung Ultra S23 256GB at the discounted price of $2050.

 

  • Eligible customers who activates the $170 with a 24 month Contract will receive the Samsung Ultra S23 256GB at the discounted price of $1900.

 

  • Eligible customers who activates the $220 with a 24 month Contract will receive the Samsung Ultra S23 256GB at the discounted price of $1700.

 

  1. How many select handsets am I allowed to purchase within the promotional period?

You will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two handsets under this special offer with each associated plan.

N.B. This offer is not valid with any other promotion, i.e., the Samsung A24 will not be available once this iPhone offer is availed.

 

  1. Where will the Samsung Ultra S23 256GB be available for purchase?

Customers can purchase these handsets from any of the below retail locations:

  1. Colonnade Mall, Bridgetown
  2. Dome Mall, Warrens
  3. Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, and
  4. Sheraton Mall, Sargeant’s Village.

 

  1. How do I sign up for the Handset Promotion?

You may visit any of our Retail Outlets to sign up with an agent.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

  1. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any rewards redeemed through this Promotion.
  2. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
  3. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for redemption of Other Prizes and for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App. Be reminded that once roaming, you will not be able to use any data from your local prepaid or select postpaid plans.
  4. The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.
  5. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.
  6. If a prize is unavailable, we may, in our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification.
  7. Prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.
  8. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
  9. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion on behalf of the Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented.
